Mandatory Materials 

Folder/Binder for music:  We highly recommend purchasing this binder with sheet protectors because it allows for easy page turns and prevents music from blowing away, while also making it easy to write directly on the music.

Ear Plugs (mandatory for band): Hearing is important, and we make a lot of noise! We recommend these ear plugs because they last a very long time, made for musicians, are washable, and can be looped on a backpack or instrument case. Others are also fine. 

PENCIL & ERASER! We do not use pens to write on music - erasable pencil only. 

Shoulder Rest (adv orchestra only): We recommend Everest - make sure to get the correct size and type of rest for your instrument! All school-issued violins are full size (4/4)

Rosin (adv orchestra only): Click here for cello rosin, click here for bass rosin, and click here for violin/viola rosin. Just one should last your student years if well taken care of.

Private Lessons
